Communicate with your people

Sending an email about due dates, available training or other matters is a simple task. Write your own emails and reuse them as few or as many times as you wish to communicate with active users. Just remember, Percolate supports plain text emails without attachments so you can be assured of quick, hassle-free message delivery. You send these emails from the Communicate tab, which is available to administrators with the permission to manage people.

Creating a new message to send

To create a new message, perform the following steps:

  1. Click the Communicate tab.
  2. Select the tags for the active people you wish to email.
    Note: Click Select All Tags to select every tagged active person.
  3. Select the account to send the email from.
  4. Type the subject for your email in the Subject field.
  5. Type the text of your email in the Message field.
    Note: You can also copy and paste your message from your favorite word processing or email program.
  6. Click Send Email.
  7. View the send results.

Using an existing message as a template

To use an existing message as a template, perform the following steps:

  1. Click the Communicate tab.
  2. Select the tags for the active people you wish to email.
  3. To reuse an existing email, select the email from the Existing Email Subject drop-down.
  4. Click the link to use the existing message.
  5. Select the account to send the email from.
  6. Make changes to the subject or message, if desired.
  7. Click Send Email.
  8. View the send results.
